Diese CD-R darf nicht mit normalen Maßstäben gemessen werden. Es handelt sich - angeblich - um Bänder aus den legendären Teekisten, einige Aufnahmen sind allerdings hörbar von Acetatplatten überspielt worden. Zudem ist nicht in allen Fällen wirklich gesichert, wer die Musiker sind. Die Tonqualität schwankt, ist durchweg aber eher schlecht. Keine der Aufnahmen ist auch nur im entferntesten plattenreif. Kurzum: Ein Überraschungspaket für eingefleischte Meekianer, aber für Otto Normalverbraucher sicher nicht von Interesse. Diese CD ist nicht im Handel, sondern ausschließlich bei der Joe Meek Society erhältlich.

No usual standard can be applied to this CD-R. Allegedly these are tapes from the legendary tea chests, some of them, however, are obviously re-recorded from acetat copies. In some cases it seems to be unclear who the musicians are. The sound quality differs, but overall it's not too good. None of the recordings is ready to be released. In short: This is a surprise package for die-hard Meekians, but surely not of interest for Mr Average. The CD is not available in shops but only from the Joe Meek Society.
